Elusiveness
We live among people that many would describe as exceptional or marginal. Aware of their differences and suffering from isolation, they try to blend in with the crowd. Despite their suspicions, the observation has allowed me to uncover some of them.
I then attempted to determine the components of their identity to translate it ostensibly by photography; through visual associations, I developed a range of signs and indicia which, interpreted as a whole, make visible what is theoretically known only by confidants.
The question is : how could I represent the deep nature of someone?

Parmi nous vivent des gens que beaucoup qualifieraient d’exceptionnels ou de marginaux. Conscients de leur différence et souffrant de leur isolement, ils tentent de se fondre dans la masse. Malgré leur méfiance, l’observation m’a permis d’en démasquer certains.
J’ai alors tenté de déterminer les composantes de leur identité pour la traduire ostensiblement par la photographie; par associations visuelles, j’élabore un panel de signes et d’indices qui, interprétés dans leur ensemble, rendent perceptible ce qui théoriquement n’est connu que des confidents.
L’unique question se pose alors : comment représenter la nature profonde d’un être?
